The Reds have announced that they have promoted right-hander Jose Diaz from Triple-A Lousville. The team has also placed pitchers Trevor Bell (elbow) and Sean Marshall (shoulder) on the 60-day disabled list. Marshall could be destined for shoulder surgery.
