On Friday night, just hours before the start of free agency, the OKC Thunder finessed a blockbuster trade by acquiring Paul George for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis. It sent the NBA world into a frenzy as players across the league and NBA fans alike weighed in on Twitter to give their take.

Although George has made it clear he prefers to head to L.A. when he becomes a free agent in 2018, it seems the Thunder—with their newly-dubbed MVP winner Russell Westbrook—are pushing their chips to the table with hopes to return to their former glory as a legitimate contender in the West.
