Draymond Green is infamous for a handful of things. His loud personality, incredible defense, and willingness to trash talk anybody no matter their stature. He also gained a reputation for dirty play when his tendency to kick out his legs on contact led to him hitting people in the groin.

During last year's NBA Finals, LeBron James attempted to step over Green, who took exception and took a swat that hit James in the groin. That was one strike too many for Green, who was suspended for Game 5.

Everybody knows what happened next. James and the Cavaliers come back from a 3-1 deficit in the series to shock Golden State and win the title. There are still people who believe had Green not been suspended the Warriors win Game 5 and seal the deal there. Green is one of those believers.

"One of the most brutal things I've ever had to go through in my life," Green said as part of an E:60 special that will air at 9 a.m. Sunday on ESPN. "If I played, we win of course. So I do feel it's my fault we lost. … Absolutely my fault. But I don't feel wrong for what I did at all."

It appears that Green has done a lot of self reflecting on the situation. He has put the entirety of last year's Finals on himself and has come into this season's Finals with a determination to make up for that. Considering he's the Warriors' vocal leader it shouldn't be a surprise that he has responded in this manner. It's just the kind of player he is.
