  • Warriors' Draymond Green: Modest production in win

Green amassed 13 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and five assists over 29 minutes during Thursday's 120-114 win over the Clippers.

Making his second appearance following a five-game suspension, Green delivered modest production and failed to register a tally in either defensive category. The defensive-minded forward was limited to start the regular season due to an ankle injury he suffered during training camp but appears full go as he's played 33 and 29 minutes, respectively, in the last two games. On the season, Green is averaging fewer rebounds, assists, blocks and steals per game than last season, but he's scoring 9.1 points per game, which would be his highest mark since 2017-18.

  • Warriors' Draymond Green: Set to return Tuesday

Green (suspension) isn't listed on the Warriors' injury report for Tuesday's matchup versus the Kings.

Green has missed the Warriors' past five games while serving a suspension due to an on-court scuffle with Rudy Gobert on Nov. 14, but he's slated to return to Golden State's starting lineup Tuesday. Before the incident, Green appeared in eight of the team's first 11 matchups, averaging 9.9 points, 6.4 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 1.4 steals-plus-blocks in 24.9 minutes per game. Green's minutes were being monitored due to an ankle injury he suffered at the beginning of training camp, but given the extra time off recently, it wouldn't be surprising to see the defensive-minded forward playing closer to 30 minutes a night moving forward.

  • Warriors' Draymond Green: Handed five-game suspension

Green was given a five-game suspension for his role in an on-court scuffle during Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Green was ejected from Tuesday's tilt -- marking his second removal in the last three games -- after wrapping his arm around Rudy Gobert's neck and keeping it there for several seconds as others attempted to pull the two apart. As a repeat offender, the NBA has decided to suspend him for five contests. Green's suspension will begin with Thursday's game against the Thunder and will end on Nov. 24, making a Nov. 28 bout with the Kings his next opportunity to play. In his stead, expect Jonathan Kuminga, Dario Saric and Trayce Jackson-Davis to see more action.

  • Warriors' Draymond Green: Ejected yet again

Green was assessed a Flagrant 2 foul and was ejected from Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves with 10:17 remaining in the first quarter for his role in an on-court fight, Chris Hine of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. He recorded two rebounds and one turnover before his ejection.

Green drew the flagrant foul when he wrapped his arm around Rudy Gobert's neck, after Gobert was one of several players who rushed toward Klay Thompson and Jaden McDaniels, who tussled after getting tangled up with one another in transition. Along with Thompson and McDaniels, Green was also ejected from the contest, marking the second time in three games that he's been tossed early. The NBA will presumably review the incident before the Warriors play again Thursday versus the Thunder, and given the nature of his actions against Gobert as well as his history of on-court infractions, Green could be facing a suspension.

  • Warriors' Draymond Green: Ejected in loss

Green finished with eight points (3-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt), five rebounds and four assists over 18 minutes before getting ejected from Saturday's 118-110 loss to the Cavaliers.

Green picked up a second technical foul midway through the third quarter after shoving Donovan Mitchell in transition, which led to his early exit from Saturday's loss. Green will get a quick return to action Sunday against Minnesota as the Warriors close a back-to-back set.
