Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors will look to get back on track on Monday as they travel to Charlotte to take on Kemba Walker and the Hornets. Golden State has lost two of its last three games and needs a convincing win on the road on the opposite coast. Charlotte, on the other hand, is fighting for its playoff life and could benefit from a victory with a brutal upcoming schedule. Tipoff for this one is set for 7 p.m. ET from the Spectrum Center. Sportsbooks list the Warriors as eight-point favorites after the line climbed as high as 8.5, while the Over-Under, or total number of points Vegas thinks will be scored, is 232.5 in the latest Warriors vs. Hornets odds. Before you make any Warriors vs. Hornets picks, see what SportsLine's advanced computer model has to say.

This model, which simulates every game 10,000 times, is crushing its NBA picks this season. It entered Week 19 of the 2018-19 NBA season with a sterling 217-164 record on all top-rated picks, returning more than $4,000 to anybody following them. And it has been particularly red-hot on its A-rated NBA picks against the spread, entering Week 19 on a blistering 44-30 run. Anybody who has followed it is way up.

Now it has locked in on Hornets vs. Warriors. We can tell you it's leaning under, and it also has locked in a confident against the spread pick that hits in well over 50 percent of simulations. You can only see that one at SportsLine.

The model knows how much Charlotte has struggled when facing superior competition this season. For the most part, the Hornets have taken care of business against worse competition, but they are just 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 games against teams with a winning percentage of 60 or better.

The Hornets have won just two of their last seven games and have no answer defensively for Golden State's firepower. There's a reason the Hornets have won just one of their last eight meetings against Golden State, and it's that the Warriors give them serious matchup problems. Walker has to give a herculean effort to even keep the Hornets in this game.

But just because Golden State stands out as the better team on paper doesn't mean Stephen Curry and company are a lock to cover the Warriors vs. Hornets spread.

The model is also well aware that while Golden State has been winning games with DeMarcus Cousins back in the lineup, it has been struggling to cover the spread with any consistency. In fact, Golden State has failed to cover the spread in six consecutive games heading into Monday. The Warriors are just 1-7 against the spread in the month of February and 5-9 since Cousins returned.

Walker is averaging 30 points since the All-Star break. He has been red-hot at home all season, shooting three percent better from the field and from three-point range.

So who wins Warriors vs. Hornets? And which side of the spread hits in well over 50 percent of simulations? Visit SportsLine now to find out which side of the Hornets vs. Warriors spread you need to jump on, all from the model that has crushed its NBA picks, and find out.
