For the third time this season, tragedy has struck the Oklahoma City Thunder. On Tuesday, according to Philadelphia's Fox 29, the younger brother of Dion Waiters was one of six people that was murdered in a series of shootings in the city.

Shook up by his brother's death, Waiters posted two heartfelt messages about his brother to his Instagram account. "The call I just got about my lil brother," Waiters said on Instagram. "Wasn't expecting this s***... crushed my heart. I never question why...But this hurt."

Waiters will miss Wednesday's game against the Clippers due to this tragic and terrible news.

This is the latest in the string of heartbreaking incidents for the Thunder. Earlier this season, assistant coach Monty Williams lost his wife in a multi-car crash and recently minority owner Aubrey McClendon passed away in a car accident.
