The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are riding a nine-game winning streak that began in Week 14 of the 2020 NFL season. Two of those victories came against the NFC South-rival Atlanta Falcons, with Tom Brady throwing for 789 total yards and six touchdowns, while Tampa Bay put up a total of 75 points. The Buccaneers will attempt to extend the streak to double-digits, and many will jump on them with their NFL survivor pool picks.

Other favorites that could attract attention for NFL knockout pool picks include the Green Bay Packers (-11 against the Detroit Lions at Caesars Sportsbook), Pittsburgh Steelers (-5.5 against the Las Vegas Raiders) and Denver Broncos (-6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars). Before making any Week 2 NFL survivor picks, see which team the red-hot SportsLine Projection Model just went all-in on.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,900 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. It went a sizzling 24-14 on top-rated NFL picks last season, returning more than $800. The model also enters Week 2 of the 2021 season on an incredible 121-79 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the Top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

In Week 1, the model recommended the 49ers as its top survivor pick. San Francisco won in 75 percent of SportsLine's simulations, and the Niners built a 28-point lead against the Lions and held on for the win.

Now the model has locked in on the Week 2 NFL schedule and found its top survivor pick. You can only see who it's backing this week here.

Top Week 2 NFL survivor pool predictions

For Week 2, the model is shying away from the Kansas City Chiefs against the host Baltimore Ravens. The Chiefs have made a habit of rallying from double-digit deficits in recent years, and they pulled off another such comeback in their opener, posting a 33-29 victory over the Cleveland Browns after trailing by 12 at halftime. They're bound to come up short on occasion, and a matchup against an angry Baltimore team could wind up being one of those instances.

The Ravens let a 14-point lead slip away in their 33-27 overtime loss at Las Vegas and will try to atone for that performance, especially at home. They'll also be anxious to end a four-game losing streak in the all-time series against Kansas City that includes a pair of double-digit defeats at home. Former NFL MVP Lamar Jackson is 0-3 in his career against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, but Baltimore still is too dangerous for the model's projections this week.
