If you are looking for an emotional, long-winded answer from a coach, don't go to Bill Belichick. The future Hall of Fame coach is known for many things, including his monotone press conferences with short responses and often dismissive remarks.

On Sunday, the New England Patriots head coach earned his 300th career regular-season win with a 29-25 upset over the Buffalo Bills, and if you think he changed his ways for such a major accomplishment, think again.

When asked about the milestone that only two other coaches have reached, Belichick seemed far from impressed with his accomplishment. The Hoodie just wanted to focus on this season, rather than the hundreds of wins in his rearview.

"It's great," Belichick said after the win. "I'm really more focused on our team and this year. I'll worry about that later. Thank you."

As far as Belichick answers go, acknowledging the accomplishment and using a positive adjective, as well as saying "thank you" is a pretty big deal.

The win puts him behind only Hall of Famers Don Shula (328) and George Halas (318) for most regular season victories. When playoffs are included, Belichick has 331 wins, behind only Shula (347) and ahead of Halas (324).

The Patriots were 1-5 heading into the home divisional game and the way the season has been going, it felt like Belichick could be stuck at 299 wins for a while. The team pulled off the upset with a 1-yard touchdown pass from Mac Jones to tight end Mike Gesicki to give the Patriots the lead with 12 seconds left in the game, marking only the second fourth-quarter comeback of the quarterback's career.

The Bills fell to 4-3 with the loss. In the AFC East they sit behind the 5-2 Miami Dolphins, who lost 31-17 on Sunday Night Football to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Belichick will try to make it 301 wins next week when the Patriots have another divisional matchup, this time against a solid Dolphins team.
