Following up an ESPN report that said Broncos linebacker Von Miller would be suspended for six games for a substance abuse violation, CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason La Canfora said the NFL Players Association is negotiating with the league office to have the suspension reduced to fewer games, perhaps four. But the suspension the league will ultimately hand down could be more than six games -- potentially eight

Moreover, any further violation by Miller will certainly result in even steeper suspensions

The Broncos' first six games: vs. Baltimore, at N.Y. Giants, vs. Oakland, vs. Philadelphia, at Dallas, vs. Jacksonville.
