LOOK: A fan rushes the field and gains more yards than the Rams offense

A dull affair between the 49ers and Rams gets a little excitement late

The Rams averaged 3.1 yards per offensive play on Monday night. They scored zero points. They were penalized 10 times for 102 yards. They punted 10 times and picked up 10 first downs. They lost 28-0 to a talentless 49ers team.

So, really, I'm not exaggerating when I say the fan who ran out onto the field at Levi's Stadium in the fourth quarter actually showed more explosiveness than the entire Rams offense did throughout the entire game.

OK, so this next part is important. It's important because it's the best damn thing that happened on Monday night.

Here's what happened: While the fan ran all over the field, Westwood One radio announcer Kevin Harlan provided live play-by-play of the incident (probably because nothing else in the game was worthy of live play-by-play). It's the greatest play-by-play in the history of streaking fans.
