Robert Griffin III's reportedly

For the most part, the recent focus on Robert Griffin III's life involved his nuptuals. But with Redskins training camp set to start in 11 days, let's not sleep on the truly important thing: his knee.

It sounds like, according to Chris Russell of ESPN 980 in D.C., things are going pretty well. Russell reports RG3 is not yet cleared for football from a medical standpoint and the "exact time/location to clear/not clear RG3 hasn't been planned yet."

But Russell also reports that when it comes to the medical testing performed on RG3, the quarterback has "astonished" the Redskins.

RG3 exceeding medical expectations isn't anything new. His recovery has been described as "superhuman" this offseason, Griffin's previously said he thinks he can be back by the start of training camp and was reportedly feeling quite good after making hard cuts a few weeks ago.

I've said all along that I expect RG3 under center when the season begins. Anything less than that, given the way that his offseason development's gone, would be a massive disappointment at this juncture. I can't fathom the Redskins mismanaging expectations that poorly.
