After Robbie Gould's go-ahead field goal went through the uprights, which gave the Bears a two-point lead over the Raiders, only two seconds remained on the clock. The Bears were a kickoff away from winning their first game of the season.

If only it could be so simple.

Gould squibbed a kick to the Raiders and madness ensued, as the Raiders gave it their best to recreate "The Play" from the 1982 Cal-Stanford game by lateraling the ball over and over and over and over again, etc.

In all, it took the Bears over half a minute to finally stop the Raiders, though in fairness to the Bears, the Raiders not only ended up going backwards, but they were also flagged for an illegal lateral pretty early on.

Eventually, the Bears landed on the football somewhere around midfield.

The Raiders' final play didn't work, but it was fun. (USATSI)
