Drexel made history on Thursday night with a furious rally from 34 points down against Colonial Athletic Association foe Delaware at home. Delaware led by 34 points late in the first half and by 27 at halftime, but Drexel flipped the tables in the second half behind a huge night from Tramaine Isabell.
Isabell scored 29 points with 12 rebounds and nine assists in the 85-83 win. The 34-point comeback set a new Division I record, breaking the previous record from 1950 when Duke came back from 32 points to beat Tulane.
Once down by 34 points (53-19), Drexel defeated Delaware tonight 85-83. It is the largest comeback in Division I MBB history, breaking a record that stood since 12-30-1950 (Duke beat Tulane after trailing by 32).

Isabell gave Drexel its first lead of the game with 1:55 remaining, and his free throws with 2.2 seconds left secured the win in a game that Dragons fans will be talking about for a long time.

It was a game that was previously flying well below the radar on a night of college basketball that was headlined by Allonzo Trier's absence at Arizona and Michael Porter Jr. getting cleared at Missouri. But these two CAA teams ended up giving us some of the biggest thrills of the night, as Drexel stormed back in dramatic fashion for the historic win.
