Before you make any bets or picks for Week 13 of the college football season, you need to hear what Barrett Sallee has to say.

A CBS Sports college football expert, ESPNU SiriusXM Radio host and Heisman Trophy voter, Sallee is absolutely crushing the books this season.

He continues to be among the top CBS Sports experts picking college football games against the spread and he has nailed 12 of the 18 best bets he has shared with SportsLine this year -- a stellar 67 percent cash rate.

When he shared his favorite selections at SportsLine last week, he correctly said that Missouri, an 8.5-point road favorite, would roll to a big victory at Vanderbilt behind the arm of quarterback Drew Lock. The result: Sallee cashed yet again as Lock threw three touchdowns and Mizzou cruised to a 45-17 victory and a cover that was never in doubt.

Now, Sallee has studied the matchups for Week 13 and he is again sharing his favorite picks over at SportsLine.

We'll give one away: Sallee is calling for Oklahoma (-22.5) to continue its march toward a playoff berth with a convincing victory over West Virginia. The national headlines this week are about Baker Mayfield missing the start of this game because of his behavior last week against Kansas

But the real quarterback issue is on the other side, as West Virginia will be without Will Grier after he broke his finger last week against Texas. The junior signal-caller is a legitimate pro prospect who has 34 touchdown passes this season. Sallee sees the Mountaineers being completely overmatched without Grier under center.

"The Sooners' Achilles heel all year has been the defense, but the Mountaineers won't be able to do much without injured starting quarterback Will Grier," Sallee said. "Lincoln Riley's crew will score in the 40s, and West Virginia will struggle mightily to keep up."

SportsLine's advanced projections say Mayfield will still put up huge numbers even though he's expected to watch from the sideline for a series or two. He'll throw for 365 yards and three touchdowns against a West Virginia defense that gives up 240 yards through the air on average per game.

Sophomore Chris Chugonov, who has fewer than 50 career pass attempts, gets the nod at quarterback for WVU. Lay the points with Oklahoma because it's too much to ask an inexperienced QB to keep the Mountaineers competitive.

If you need even more reason to back Oklahoma, the Sooners have failed to cover the spread just once in their past 10 home games.

Sallee is also calling for a top-15 team to go down hard in a loss that will shake up a conference title picture in a major way. Find out who it is at SportsLine and could be well on your way to a profitable weekend.
