Cotton (8-10) gave up three runs on six hits and two walks over five innings while striking out just three Red Sox on Wednesday, but that was enough for him to take home a win.

Crucially, he gave up only one homer -- a major improvement over the six he'd allowed over his prior two outings. Homers have killed Cotton this year, as he's surrendered 28 of them through 23 starts, and he hasn't shown particularly good control either. The righty entered 2017 as a trendy fantasy sleeper, but the spikes he's seen in his homer and walk rates have resulted in brutal stats that have rightly gotten him cast off rosters in a lot of leagues.
