Brett Eibner: Let go by Dodgers

Eibner (elbow) was released by the Dodgers on Monday, Eric Stephen of TrueBlueLA.com reports.

Eibner was cut loose after being designated for assignment earlier in the week. The 28-year-old slashed .182/.250/.364 with two homers in 17 games with the Dodgers this season. Eibner underwent Tommy John surgery at the beginning of August, so he isn't expected to return until late next season.
