Shaw is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.
As anticipated, Shaw will remain on the bench for the third straight game with the Cubs bringing another lefty (Jon Lester) to the hill. Mike Moustakas will shift over from second base to cover Shaw's usual spot at third while Hernan Perez mans the keystone.
