Luplow (ankle) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Columbus on Friday.
Luplow has been sidelined since May 27 with an ankle injury. He went 0-for-2 with a walk and a strikeout in his first game with Columbus. The outfielder will likely need another couple of games with the farm team before he's ready to return to the big-league roster.
