Marlins receive minor league pitcher, shortstop for Haren

The Cubs have announced that the two players they sent to the Marlins for Dan Haren are Double-A pitcher Ivan Pineyro and shortstop Elliot Soto.

Pineyro has made 19 starts this season and boasts a 7-5 record and 3.69 ERA with 92 strikeouts in 107 1/3 innings.

Soto has 73 singles among his 84 hits, but has 55 walks and owns a fine on-base percentage of .388.
