Orioles' Logan Verrett: Recalled from Triple-A

The Orioles recalled Verrett from Triple-A Norfolk prior to Sunday's game against the Astros, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.

Verrett will provide the Orioles with a fresh arm out of the bullpen after Tyler Wilson tossed an inning in Saturday's game and was subsequently optioned back to Norfolk. Verrett and Ubaldo Jimenez are candidates to piggyback Alec Asher, who replaces Jimenez in the rotation Sunday after having worked out of the bullpen in recent weeks.
