Nunez (knee) remains on the bench Friday against the Blue Jays, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Knee soreness kept Nunez out of the lineup Thursday and will cost him at least one more game. With the season ending Sunday, it's possible he's already appeared in his final game of the year. If so, he'll end the year with a career-best .805 OPS. Jose Iglesias serves as the designated hitter for Friday's game, with Ramon Urias starting at shortstop.
