Brosseau is not on the Rays' ALDS roster.
Brosseau started in the wild-card round with lefty Sean Manaea on the mound. He'll lose out against the Astros and their righty-heavy rotation. Fellow right-handed bat Daniel Robertson also failed to make the cut, with lefty Eric Sogard (foot) making the roster instead.
