Red Sox's Chris Mazza: Recalled ahead of start

Mazza was recalled as expected ahead of his scheduled start Sunday against the Yankees.

Mazza has made one relief appearance for the Red Sox thus far this season, throwing 2.2 scoreless innings against the Yankees back on Aug. 1. He posted a 5.51 ERA and a 1.59 WHIP in his 16.1-inning debut last season. Dylan Covey was optioned in a corresponding move.
