Royals' Alex Gordon: On bench vs. lefty

Gordon is not in the lineup against Detroit on Thursday.

Gordon will retreat to the pine with southpaw Matt Boyd on the hill for the Tigers. In his place, Jorge Bonifacio will pick up a start in the outfield.
