The Mets plan to decline Frazier's team contract option Wednesday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Frazier was traded from the Rangers to the Mets in August of 2020, but he'll now search for a new club after his contract was bought out by New York for $1.5 million. The 34-year-old had a career-worst .684 OPS with four home runs and 12 RBI in 2020, and he'll likely have to settle for a part-time role to begin the 2021 campaign.
