Kepler is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.
Kepler is one of several Twins players involved in a platoon, so he will yield to Manuel Margot in right field with the Nats starting left-hander Mitchell Parker. The left-handed hitting Kepler actually has a 1.050 OPS versus southpaws this season, although that's come over just 20 plate appearances.
