AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell3H agoFinal: Rockies 5, Padres 4 The Padres had plenty of chances late. They never capitalized, stranding RISP in each of the final three innings and loading the bases in the 8th and 9th. A letdown after their weekend series win over the Dodgers. They are back to .500, 22-22.

AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell1D agoFinal: Padres 4, Dodgers 0 They've met once in Korea, once in L.A. and once in San Diego - and the Padres still haven't lost a series to the Dodgers this year. They won Sunday's rubber match behind 7 scoreless from Yu Darvish and solo homers from Tatis, Cronenworth and Bogaerts.

AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell1D agoWhat a turn through the rotation for the Padres. ELIAS says they're the first team since at least 1893 with four straight starts of at least five innings and two hits or fewer. Dylan Cease against the Cubs on Wednesday, then Michael King, Matt Waldron and Yu Darvish against LA.
