Poythress provided 15 points (5-8 FG, 5-7 3Pt), one rebound, and one steal in 23 minutes during Monday's 120-111 loss to the Pacers.

Poythress pitched in career highs in scoring and threes, this after making just one-of-nine from beyond the arc through his first four games. Poythress sank 0.7 treys per contest (on 40.3 percent shooting) in 46 games with the NBA D-League's Fort Wayne Mad Ants this season, but he made just 0.3 per game (on 30.2 percent) over four years at the University of Kentucky. As a power forward, Poythress will need to keep showing he can make outside shots, and Monday's results were certainly encouraging in that regard.
