Shumpert (wrist) was a full participant in Monday's practice, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Coach David Blatt quickly ended any speculation that Shumpert was returning by saying the guard has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Trail Blazers, but with another full practice on his belt, it continues to appear likely that Shumpert will make his debut at some point later this month. Once Shumpert returns to action, he's expected to reclaim a spot in the starting lineup, pushing J.R. Smith to the sixth-man role.
