The Jazz didn't re-sign Valentine after his 10-day contract expired Thursday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Utah signed Valentine on Jan. 10 while the team's depth was tested by several COVID-19 and injury-related absences, but the Jazz have only three players on the injury report heading into Friday's game against the Pistons. As such, the Jazz aren't expected to be granted another hardship exemption from the NBA, which leaves no room for Valentine now that his 10-day deal has expired. Valentine logged 19 minutes between his two appearances off Utah's bench, totaling five points, four rebounds, one steal and two turnovers.
