Adams is not expected to participate in training camp or preseason games.
Adams had cartilage transplant surgery in his right knee back in June and has been rehabbing all throughout the offseason. Unfortunately, he appears to be a ways off from a full return to the court still, likely ruling him out of training camp and preseason play. With that said, his status also remains highly questionable for the season opener. He's yet to be given a concrete timetable for a return, but it wouldn't be surprising if he started the season on the team's injured list. Even when healthy, Adams isn't slated to be a part of the Grizzlies' regular rotation, so he's not worth drafting in the majority of fantasy leagues.
