Wroten was claimed off waivers by the Grizzlies on Sunday, Ian Begley of ESPN.com reports.
Wroten was waived by the Knicks earlier in the week, after they needed to make room on the roster for the Derrick Rose trade to go through. The Grizzlies decided they wanted to give Wroten a look, so they'll pick up the 23-year-old guard. With Mike Conley headed to free agency, Wroten is an insurance option in the backcourt, but likely won't see significant minutes once the regular season rolls around.
