Augustin provided six points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-3 FT), one rebound and one assist across 20 minutes in a 107-79 loss to the Spurs on Wednesday.

Coach Frank Vogel's decision to use C.J. Watson as his starting point guard and Elfrid Payton as Watson's main backup the last four games has resulted in Augustin seeing more time off the ball lately. It hasn't been beneficial to Augustin's production, with the veteran averaging just 5.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 three-pointers in 21.3 minutes per contest. Even if Vogel scraps the experiment and brings Payton or Augustin back into the starting five, the latter still profiles as a low-upside fantasy option in most deep leagues since he's rarely seen high usage in any contest. He's produced six or more assists in just six games and double-digit shot attempts in 10 games all season.
