Payton (calf) won't play Thursday against the Trail Blazers, Sam Gordon of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Payton is considered day-to-day with left calf tightness. It's possible the defensive specialist could return for the second leg of the Warriors' back-to-back set Friday against the Pelicans.
