Bolden produced 14 points (7-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt), eight rebounds, two assists, four blocks and one steal over 30 minutes during Sunday's 120-110 victory over the Cavaliers. Bolden got the start for the Hornets' regular-season finale, and he took advantage of the opportunity by recording career highs in points and blocks. He was a DNP for most of the season but played in seven of Charlotte's last eight games. Bolden will be with the Hornets for the 2024-25 season after signing a two-year, two-way contract with the team in March 2024.... See More ... See Less

Hornets' Marques Bolden: Plays 30 minutes in first start
Bolden logged six points (2-5 FG, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal over 30 minutes during Friday's 131-98 loss to the Celtics. Bolden got the start Friday due to the absences of Grant Williams (ankle) and Nick Richards (foot). Bolden saw his heaviest usage of the season Friday, though he managed to record only six points on five field-goal attempts. He could see a similar amount of playing time in the Hornets' regular-season finale Sunday against the Cavaliers.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Marques Bolden: Starting at center
Bolden is starting Friday's game against the Celtics, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports. Bolden will draw his first start of the 2023-24 regular season and should be in line for a sizeable workload due to the absences of Grant Williams (ankle) and Nick Richards (foot).... See More ... Hornets' Marques Bolden: Sticks in rotation Friday
Bolden amassed four points (2-2 FG) and three rebounds in 10 minutes during Friday's 124-115 win over the Magic. Bolden remained in the rotation Friday, taking to the floor for the third straight game. Prior to that, he had played on only four occasions all season. While it is clear the Hornets are going to hand minutes to just about anyone down the stretch, Bolden is not someone fantasy managers need to be considering outside of deep leagues.... See More ... Marques Bolden: Let go by Charlotte
The Hornets released Bolden on Wednesday. Bolden signed a 10-day contract with the Hornets on Feb. 20, but he'll be let go before the deal expires after Charlotte signed Aleksej Pokusevski to fill the 15th and final spot on the roster. Bolden was held scoreless with one rebound in five minutes during his lone appearance with the Hornets.... See More ... See Less -
Hornets' Marques Bolden: Gets 10-day deal from Charlotte
Bolden agreed to a 10-day deal with the Hornets on Tuesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. The Hornets will bring Bolden on the 15-man roster after a productive stretch of action in the G League with the Wisconsin Herd, with whom he's averaged 17.0 points, 13.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks during the team's six-game winning streak. Bolden -- who began the campaign as one of the Bucks' three two-way players but appeared in just two NBA contests -- is averaging 13.3 points (on 55.4 percent shooting from the field), 7.7 boards, 1.6 blocks and 1.5 assists in 25.0 minutes per game over 31 appearances overall for the Herd this season. While he's with Charlotte, Bolden could challenge Nathan Mensah for the third-string role at center behind Nick Richards and Grant Williams.... See More ... See Less -

Bolden didn't play in Saturday's loss to South Bay due to a shoulder injury. Bolden still appears to be dealing with the same shoulder injury which made him miss almost two full months of action.... See More ... See Less -

Marques Bolden: Remains out Friday
Bolden (shoulder) didn't play in Friday's win over Birmingham. Bolden once again didn't participate due to a lingering shoulder injury. However, the center was listed as a DNP - coach's decision, which may indicate that Bolden is nearing a return.... See More ... See Less -

Marques Bolden: Non-factor in second outing
Bolden tallied two points (1-4 FG, 0-2 FT), five rebounds and one block during Friday's loss to the Ignite. This was Bolden's second appearance with the Stars. However, he wasn't much of a factor through 12 minutes off the bench.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Marques Bolden: Let go by Milwaukee
Bolden was waived by the Bucks on Saturday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Bolden had an impressive preseason, including a 21-point performance in which he started against the Bulls. However, Bolden was waived as Milwaukee had to cut down its roster. He will likely head to the G League.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Marques Bolden: Excellent performance in loss
Bolden compiled 21 points (9-11 FG, 3-4 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks in 34 minutes in Tuesday's 127-104 loss to the Bulls. Bolden started Tuesday and made his first six shot attempts, including two from beyond the arc. He had played only 12 minutes combined in two preseason games before Tuesday's start. The 24-year-old signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Bucks in September and looks to return to the NBA after spending all of last season in the G League.... See More ... See Less -
Marques Bolden: Double-double versus Legends
Bolden posted 10 points (4-10 FG, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 31 minutes in Friday's 103-91 loss to the Texas Legends. Bolden led his team in rebounds and blocks Friday, but it wasn't enough to earn a win over Texas. He's averaging 11.9 points and 8.8 rebounds per game for the Stars heading into Saturday's season finale.... See More ... See Less -
Marques Bolden: Double-double in narrow defeat
Bolden registered 18 points (7-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 13 rebounds and a steal across 32 minutes in Tuesday's 118-115 loss to the Santa Cruz Warriors. Bolden grabbed seven offensive rebounds against Santa Cruz on Tuesday, but he really struggled from deep in the game (shooting 16.7 percent). He's making 41 percent of his three-pointers overall this season, so he can bounce back from this performance, and 2.4 of his 8.7 rebounds per game on average are offensive.... See More ... Marques Bolden: Double-double against Agua Caliente
Bolden recorded 12 points (4-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 14 rebounds and one assist across 33 minutes in Thursday's 111-108 loss to the Agua Caliente Clippers. He also had four blocks and four steals in the game. Bolden was a warrior Thursday as he led his team in rebounds, blocks and steals against the Clippers. He's averaging 8.5 boards, 1.7 blocks and 1.1 takeaways per game this season for SLC, showing how much effort he puts into the less glamorous side of the game.... See More ... See Less -
Marques Bolden: Double-double against Santa Cruz
Bolden put up 15 points (6-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds and four blocks across 34 minutes in Sunday's 106-94 victory over the Santa Cruz Warriors. He's averaging 8.1 rebounds per game, but also 1.6 blocks and .8 steals per game defensively.... See More ... See Less -
Marques Bolden: Efficient double-double in defeat
Bolden posted 24 points (8-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 10 rebounds and one assist across 39 minutes in Monday's 130-117 loss to the Oklahoma City Blue. Bolden shot very well Monday (88.9 percent from the field, 83.3 percent from the stripe) and led his team in offensive rebounds against the Blue. He is making just 62.1 percent of his free throws this season, so he will want more efficient performances like this one.... See More ... See Less -
