Warriors' Jordan Bell: Won't play final summer league game

Jordan Bell (shoulder) will remain out for Friday's summer league finale, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.Bell ended up playing in four combined games between Sacramento and Las Vegas Summer Leagues, posting averages of 5.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.5 steals and 2.3 blocks across 24.3 minutes. However, he dealt with some soreness in his shoulder and missed the last few contests, so the Golden State Warriors are comfortable just shutting their second-year big man down. Bell should be a full go for training camp and he could be in line for a bigger role this season following the departures of JaVale McGee, Zaza Pachulia and potentially David West.

Jordan Bell finished with six points (3-8 FG), 11 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals across 28 minutes during Friday's 77-71 summer league victory over the Clippers. This is what we're used to seeing from Bell, who, across two summer league tilts, has racked up 14 points, 17 rebounds, 12 assists, seven blocks and four steals. He's certainly making the case for more playing time next season, though it may be tough to come by with DeMarcus Cousins now in the fold.

Warriors' Jordan Bell: Will be rested Thursday

Jordan Bell will sit out Thursday's Sacramento Summer League finale for rest purposes, Mark Medina of the Mercury News reports. The Golden State Warriors will be wrapping up their first summer league series and likely want to get a better look at some of the more unproven products. Warriors' Jordan Bell: Racks up seven dimes Tuesday

Jordan Bell registered eight points (4-5 FG), a team-high seven assists, six rebounds, four blocks and two steals in 24 minutes during Tuesday's 71-54 win over the Kings.Bell, who proved to be dynamic in spurts as a rookie last season, was exceptional during Tuesday's game. He should easily surpass the 14.2 minutes per game he garnered for the Golden State Warriors in 2018-19, especially with the newly signed DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) far from a safe bet to be ready to go for the start of the season. Bell will likely see his playing time take a hit once Cousins is fully cleared to play, but the second-year big man should still be an integral part of the Golden State rotation thanks to his length, athleticism and multi-faceted skill set.

Jordan Bell totaled three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one block in 21 minutes during Saturday's 115-86 victory over the Rockets.Bell came off the bench Saturday providing a nice spark and seeing more court time that starter Kevon Looney. Bell has not been much of a factor in the series but was able to have an impact with his energy and athleticism. The Golden State Warriors have needed some additional efforts from their role players with Andre Iguodala (knee) on the sidelines and Bell was the go-to-guy in this game.
