The Jets signed Ogletree to the practice squad Thursday.
Ogletree spent the offseason as a free agent after having been cut by the Giants back in February, but he'll now begin the regular season on the Jets' practice squad. The soon-to-be 29-year-old is coming off back-to-back 13-game seasons as a starter for the Giants, so he could see an opportunity to join the Jets' active roster at some point this season.
