Morris reverted to the Giants' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Morris played in 16 of his team's 77 offensive snaps in Sunday's matchup against Washington, rushing for 67 yards on nine carries while snagging one catch on one target for four yards. Despite the solid numbers, he was demoted to the practice squad following the contest, although he could return in Week 10 should Devonta Freeman (ankle) miss another game.
