Bond is still recovering from a knee injury and will not play in Thursday's preseason game against the Redskins, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Bond has been out with the injury for a little over two weeks now, and while he'll be held out of the team's preseason finale, it appears he is close to returning. However, he remains without an exact timetable, and Kendell Beckwith will continue to serve as the team's SAM linebacker in Bond's absence.
