The Lions cut Taumoepeau (neck) on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Taumoepeau spent the entire 2021 season on the reserve/non-football injury list due to a neck issue, but he's now returned to health. The third-year tight end can now search for an opportunity elsewhere in the league.
