Cowboys' Cooper Rush: Signs with Cowboys

Rush signed a contract with the Cowboys on Monday, NFL.com reports.

Rush signed with Dallas as an undrafted free agent. As the quarterback for Central Michigan last season, he threw for 3,540 yards, 23 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. He'll have a chance to compete with Kellen Moore for the backup quarterback role behind Dak Prescott in 2017, but the practice squad is a more likely destination for Rush.
