The Jaguars cut Smith from their practice squad Monday, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.
Smith was promoted to the active roster ahead of Week 1 -- his first NFL game since 2019. He played seven offensive snaps but couldn't haul in his only target. The Ohio State product has spent the rest of the season on the practice squad and will now have to find a new team.
