Chekwa (thigh) returned to practice Tuesday, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.
Chekwa has yet to appear in a preseason game as he continues to nurse a lingering thigh injury. The sooner the cornerback can return to full speed the better, as he was pushing for a starting spot over Tony Lippett before he went down with the injury. Chekwa's status for Thursday's preseason tilt with the Falcons is still unknown.
