Football Team's Darryl Roberts: Placed on IR

Washington placed Roberts (quadriceps) on injured reserve Wednesday.

Roberts suffered the injury against the Saints during Week 5. He will be sidelined for at least three weeks with the move to injured reserve, but he may miss more time. The 30-year-old corner played a limited role for Washington's defense this season, so his absence shouldn't affect the defensive rotations.
