Cottrell played one offensive snap during Sunday's 27-20 win over the Colts.
The rookie UDFA was active for the season opener and played 19 snaps on special teams. Cottrell is unlikely to be a factor in Jacksonville's offense under the current circumstances, but he may continue to suit up while Ryquell Armstead (reserve/COVID-19 list) and Devine Ozigbo (hamstring) are sidelined.
