McGovern (knee) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Ethan Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports.
McGovern suffered a knee injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win over the Jaguars. His absence will be significant for the team, as he's started every game and was on the field for 98 percent of offensive snaps this season. Dan Feeney should be in line to start at center across the Jets' final two contests.
