Brooks was traded to the Jets on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The Jets parted ways with Dexter McDougle with the hopes that Brooks can add value as a depth safety. The 25-year-old will likely fill in behind the rookie tandem of Jamal Adams and Marcus Maye.
