Benkert was cut from the 49ers' practice squad Tuesday, per his personal Twitter account.
Benkert will once again hit the open market after a month-long stint with the 49ers' practice squad. The undrafted product out of Virginia has spent time with the Packers, Falcons and 49ers, but he'll likely have to look for a new opportunity elsewhere.
