Thurman signed a contract with the Patriots on Thursday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Thurman was waived by the Buccaneers on Monday, but has already found his way to the Patriots' 90-man roster. The Houston product didn't appear in a regular-season game last season after going undrafted, but will now have another opportunity to fight for a roster spot.
