Butler will not return to Sunday's game against the 49ers after suffering a concussion.
Butler will now enter the league's concussion protocols, which will potentially end his season early, and at least leave his Week 18 status in question. In his absence, Harvey Langi will likely see extra opportunities at outside linebacker.
